“What I am today is because of who I was yesterday”
Reminiscing my younger years, makes me feel complete as a total human being. I was so excited receiving an award as “Most Commendable” under Mrs. Tagarino, my teacher in grade one.
The adventurous part of my childhood is when we visit our teacher’s house Mrs. Gasmin in Aggub at the age of eight. With my common friends namely: Sharon, Cathelyn, Lovelyn, etc.We went home with a basket of chicken eggs. (Mom doesn’t know about it up to this time).
Our teacher Mrs. Manlapaz, the most controversial teacher during those times. She beat one of our classmate, so she was fired. Mrs. Opena took over her place, she taught us a song (O elele, a very big katumba, a masa masa masa balue balua) I don’t even understand what it means but it makes us laugh singing it over.
My adviser in grade four, Mrs. Castillo was the kindest. Often times, she beg us to behave with teary eyed. The noisiest level, I surmise.
During this year, my talent in singing and dancing outgrew. I am a member of a choir. We join the competition in NVSIT singing, “Hark how the bells” . I was also a folk dancer, dancing with the tune of “Carinosa”.
When friday comes, I always feel excited because of my music teacher Mr. Dalton J. Bunagan. The songs like: Love is very patient, Let there be peace on earth, Son of God are my favorites. We sing while he plays the guitar.
When I was in grade five, I was so interested in drums. A lot of practice every saturday to be a drummer girl. I learned how to be responsible and delegate task when I was assigned as a Girl Scout leader on a sixth grade. Our motto: “Be prepared” and our slogan: ”Do a good turn daily” sinks in my mind. I love the song, “It is better to light just one little candle…” during our Garland Ceremony.
What about my high school days? So many “kilig” moments. I received love letters at the age of thirteen. Consistently receiving from classmates, batch mates and even from the outsiders. I’m fascinated with different activities. Imagine a Cadet Officer, joining search for Ms. Intramurals ’91? Experimenting with individuality. I am responsible with the sapphire girls as their platoon leader. I was awarded as “First runner up, Ms. Intramurals ’91″
I also join the search for a model with a tune of “Life dance”.

I’m a cheerer for quite sometime. I enjoyed our Juniors and Senior’s Prom, although I had a foot ache dancing all the time.
I graduated with loyalty award. What a remarkable experience! The most important thing that I truly cherish in this school are the values of discipline, perseverance and loyalty.
What happens next after AC? I was crowned as Ms. AMA ’93 in Cabanatuan City and awarded as “Most Outstanding” student .
After my vocational course ( Information System Analysis and Design). I was hired as a cashier in Rural Bank of Bayombong, Inc. Eventually, appointed as a manager at the age of 27. I am managing Solano branch, ten years in the making rendering a service for 16 years.
Year 2008, I graduated B.S.C major in Banking and Finance. I am taking Masteral’s Degree and candidate for graduation this 2012.
I’m proud to be AC’nian. Thank’s to all the teachers that mold and brought me to where I am right now. You are a part of my success and forever be cherished from the bottom of my heart.
